    June 2016

Mulled plum, cherry, leather and spice flavors hold court in this luscious red. Firm tannins and vivid acidity provide support. Ends with dusty, mouthcoating tannins.

    Monica Larner, August 2016

The Agostina Pieri 2011 Brunello di Montalcino shows an attractive level of inner tension and energy when you first approach the glass. As the wine takes on more air, it fleshes out and expands with ripe fruit aromas of cherry confit and dried blackberry. It takes a minute before you are aware of the richness and the ripeness of the fruit at hand. The wine finishes with smooth tannins and slightly sweet flavors or dark spice and tobacco.

    James Suckling, February 2016

Big, soft and plummy with lots of dried fruits and spices. Full body, savory and delicious. Fun one to drink now.
