Located in what Sabine Mollard calls 'the valley of death', this premier cru was wiped out by frost in 2016 but is back with some aplomb in 2017. Yields were comparatively high - as they often are after a gelée noire - but this is not short of presence or intensity. Quite complex with grapefruit and a lemon-pith edge. Fine acidity runs linear and fresh on the palate. Mouthwatering and intense.See detailed press review
