  • Tasting notes

A pure, clean and widely admired expression of this popular grape. Unoaked to preserve the grape's personality. Juicy and bold with a captivating range of stone fruit that lends finely balanced acidity and layers of cleansing freshness throughout.

  • Viticultural notes

The weather in the Okanagan was favourable for most of the 2018 season, beginning with a mild spring. Budburst was 2-3 weeks later than average, but the continuing warm weather trend allowed for uniform flowering, which paved the way for balanced cluster development. According to winemaker, Stefan Arnason, “The steady pace of the 2018 growing season yielded balanced wines; the cool nights and warm days over an extended period preserved acidity and developed wonderful phenolic ripeness and flavour complexity."

  • Winemaking notes

Made from 100% Pinot Gris grapes. The fruit was pressed after three hours of skin contact to extract additional aromatics and fermented cold to preserve the signature fruit flavours. The various parcels of juice were inoculated with three different yeast cultures in order to allow complexity and mouth-feel to develop without over manipulation. The final Pinot Gris blend was created to bring the most balanced profile of acidity, aromatics, and natural sweetness on the palate.
