Ruby red in colour, this vintage exhibits bursting aromas of fruit and good structure. It is a pleasant and very flavourful wine where one sip leads to another.
The summer began with cooler temperatures that lasted until mid-August, and then conditions became warmer to assist with perfect ripening. While the cool weather helped produce well-balanced whites, the reds are fruity, distinctive and very aromatic. Alberello trained (bush trained) vines are 12-34 years old, and have been planted with a southern exposure at 250 feet elevation.
Controlled-temperature fermentation and maceration for about 15 days. The wine is aged in stainless steel tanks and then bottle aged for 4 months prior to release.

Very aromatic and enticing with dried strawberry and spice character. Medium to full body, silky tannins and a savory finish. Hints of citrus and berry on the finish.See detailed press review
