An intense aroma of ripe Satsuma plum, mocha and toasty, roasty notes, mingle with hints of cedar and sweet spice. Rich, sweet fruit is balanced wonderfully with briary and sweet spice and lovely, silky tannins. A medium to full bodied, textured wine showing great complexity with hints of cedar and biscuit and in combination, flows through to the lengthy, fruitful and spicy finish.

From vines that were 171 years old when the grapes for this wine were harvested, this is packed with dark berry fruit, then layered with vanilla, cedar and mint. It's full, plush and warm, just too big, intense and bulky for current consumption.See detailed press review
