Complex and beautiful aromas of blackberry and blueberry. Licorice. Full body, fine tannins and a long finish. Sexy and pretty.

A pan-Mendoza cuvée of Malbec with 25% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Petit Verdot, this is a very serious, age worthy red with lots of oak and structure and the complexity to develop further in bottle. The cooler vintage has produced a wine that’s savoury and a little backward, but with layers of dark, spicy fruit.

    December 2016

Rich aromas of raisin, cassis and blackberry are supported by notes of vanilla, smoke and sweet almond paste. While this is dense and ripe, it's also a touch edgy and raw on the palate. Flavors of blackberry, cassis, dark spices and chocolate finish with a primary wave of residual fruit then a final dose of peppery spice.

Inky purple crimson. Minty dark fruit on the nose. Very concentrated and pure. Lovely complex blend of the fresh dark fruit and all that savoury quality of black olive. Dark, rich and almost tarry on the nose. Thick, chewy and like a rustic but handsome seducer at the moment. Needs time or food for greater elegance. Extremely complex but the tannins are super-fine grained. Fabulous complexity and freshness. Complex mix of fruit and savoury notes and all in a fine tannic framework.
