The long history of the Montresor family boasts illustrious ancestors, like the Count Claude de Montresor, the prime counsellor of Duke D'Orleans in France in 1600 (his writings, "Memoirs", dating back to 1663, are considered of great interest). Clear pale yellow in colour, with greenish reflections. Fresh and slightly fruity bouquet with delicate aromas of acacia and elder blossoms. Dry, with an almond and honey aftertaste.

    November 2016

    Glorious, mouth-filling, tangy.
Made from Garganega grapes grown in the Soave region of Veneto, in northern Italy this DOC white is perfect for antipasti, mild cheeses, seafood, pasta tossed in herbs and olive oil, and white meats.

It exhibits glorious restraint; mineral, lemon verbena, honey and stone fruits tossed with delicate spring blossoms. Oily texture, weighty and mouth-filling with excellent concentration and flavours of beeswax, golden fruits and lemon zest. The finish is delightfully tangy - great value.
