    Parés Baltà is a family owned winery in the Penedès region of Spain with traditions dating back to the 18th century. In 1790, the first vines were planted on the estate that now surrounds the winery. Today however, more than 220 years later, almost everything is different. The acquisition of the winery in 1978 by Mr. Joan Cusiné Hill, born in 1917 in Bellvei del Penedés, and the addition of the exemplary estates “La Torreta” and “Els Pujols” mark the beginning of the Parés Baltà...

  • Tasting notes

    Delicate, smooth bubbles with pure red fruit aromas and flavours that bring more complexity to this fresh and crisp sparkling wine. Pronounced notes of strawberry and raspberry that follow through onto the palate and develop into a wonderfully intense and concentrated pastry finish. Very reminiscent of the sun-soaked seasons.

  • Viticultural notes

    Pares Balta wines are certified organic, biodynamic and vegan-friendly. Produced from vineyards located in the high mountains of Pontons (close to 800 meters elevation).

  • Winemaking notes

    A coupage of Grenache and indigenous Catalan varieties Parellada and Macabeo, and it is made according to the traditional method. Carefully matured in underground cellars on lees for 18 months and bottled with zero dosage.
