    October 2015

"A lush, dense syrah with meat, dark berries and hints of herbs. Full body with soft, velvety tannins and a long finish. Rich style, verging on New World."

Aged in oak for 16 months, the 2013 Sicilia Syrah Mahâris offers beautiful depth and richness. This is a spectacular wine that exhibits the amazing heights that can be achieved with Syrah in Sicily. Dark fruit is balanced nicely against spice, cured leather and white peppercorn. The mouthfeel is richly texture and velvety.
