Aromas of black cherries and plums are accompanied by notes of violets and vanilla. On the palate the wine is rich and full-bodied with flavours of juicy black berries, cranberries, and black currants abound, followed by notes of vanilla and sweet spice.
Tilia, the Latin name for Linden, is a traditional tree throughout the wine country of Mendoza. Its flowers are used to make a popular herbal tea with calming properties. The Tilia wines are made by Alejandro Viggiani, a winemaker and viticulturalist in charge of all Catena family vineyards in eastern Mendoza. The wines are made with a blend of fruit sourced from the Eastern and Southern regions of Mendoza.
