Tim Atkin, February 2017

This organically grown Chablis comes from the Butteaux and Les Ecueillis lieux-dits of this sunny, south and southeast facing Premier Cru. Floral, fresh pastry aromas lead into a fresh, zingy, zesty palate with subtle spice and grapefruity acidity.

James Suckling, December 2016

A solid riesling with sliced-apple and lime aromas and flavors. Cement and stone undertones. Pretty, phenolic texture. Medium to full body, a bone-dry palate and a gorgeous finish. Rich and flavorful yet only 11.5% alcohol. Don't miss this. Biodynamically grown grapes all from around the winery in Turckheim.

Wine Advocate, February 2017

The just-bottled 2015 Pruno is a young, fruit-driven and straightforward blend of Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon from young and older vines in their 63-hectare organically-farmed estate, located around the winery by the river Duero. 2015 was a very warm year and the wine is ripe without excess, juicy and tasty, with a minty and chocolate touch perhaps from the one year it spent in oak barrels.

James Suckling, July 2016

Aromas of blueberries and blackberries with hints of minerals. Full body, very fine tannins with orange peel and currant character. Chewy yet polished tannins. Better in 2018 but already delicious. Impressive for the difficult 2014 vintage.

James Suckling, October 2016

Impressive concentration, freshness and purity here. It's all gently enriched with some savory, autolysis-driven characters. Truly a modern classic! Showing attractive spiced-apple, lemon and pink rose-like florals on the palate, this flows nicely into white-cherry territory with grilled hazelnuts and a core of sorbet-like fleshy peaches and lemons. Great balance.
