Consistently one of the World’s Great Rosés

We are thrilled to present the 2018 vintage Domaine de la Mordoree's La Dame Rousse Tavel - long hailed as one of the World’s great examples of Rosé. This wine tends to sell out before the press arrives and we expect this year to be no different. Below is a collection of accolades from recent vintages:

Previous vintage press -
2017 92 Points Vinous
2016 91 Points Vinous
2015 92 Points Vinous
2014 91 Points Vinous
2013 92 Points Vinous
2012 91 Points Vinous

You can expect the classic profile of mineral tinged - red fruit and orange zest; coupled with savoury aromas and flavours of fennel and wild lavender. It is a wine of both power and finesse. A deliciously complex rosé that is beautiful for the summer patio, but with sufficient structure to age should bottles last beyond the year.

Wine Enthusiast, March 2019

Plush layers of preserved plum and cherry are speckled by darker tones of licorice, granite and dried earth in this plump, enveloping red. Full bodied and rippling like silk, it's a powerful yet open-knit wine with a soft, cocoa-powder finish.
