Yellow in colour with emerald hue. The nose is loaded with tropical fruit, banana, pineapple, papaya and lychee and the next whiff shows ginger, bubble gum and flowers. Not as sweet or viscous as the 2016 but still plenty of power here with similar mandarin and more bubble gum but with a slight grip in the finish, should age gracefully.

Notes of rose scented soap, orange blossoms, exotic spices and tropical fruits. The palate is just as concentrated and exotic as the nose, the finish lingers with creamed peaches and spice on the finish.

The wine begins with aromas of ginger and grapefruit. On the palate there are flavours of lychee and grapefruit. A touch of residual sugar lifts the aromas and give the wine a rich texture.See detailed press review
