A very similar blend to the Special Cuvée, this includes just 6% red wine from the Côte aux Enfants in Aÿ. Creamy, steely red fruit scents display a mineral character supported by subtle woody depth. This is tight and fresh in the mouth, displaying pure red fruits, its oak backbone betrayed by notes of black pepper and its full texture.See detailed press review

The latest release of Bollinger's NV Brut Rosé is also showing well, revealing scents of yellow orchard fruit, candied orange peel, pear, dried white flowers and spices. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, with good depth at the core, a youthfully frothy mousse and bright balancing acids, concluding with a dry, chalky finish. The Rosé is based on the Special Cuvée blend, with the addition of red wine from Bollinger's vineyards in Verzenay and their famous monopole La Côte aux EnfantsSee detailed press review
