    August 2019

Juicy and fresh, with a well-focused beam of red currant, damson plum and cherry fruit streaming through, harnessed by light mineral, floral and savory streaks. Fresh cut on the finish brings you back for more. An understated style, this wins on purity and precision.

    August 2019

Revana Terroir Series cabernet is Napa Valley fruit from three AVAs: Oak Knoll, St Helena, and Calistoga. The fruit cold-soaked for five days before going through a 16-day whole berry fermentation. The blend is 83/15/2/cabernet sauvignon, merlot and petit verdot. The nose is quiet (for Napa) with savoury black fruits and light spice. Dense sweet tannins mark the wine's rich textures, ripe with plenty of depth and complexity. The mid-palate is long and well-balanced with black olives, black currants flecked with floral and mineral notes. The alcohol is in check in what can described as the new Napa style. Big with a conscience. Revana uses four cabernet sauvignon clones and is aged in 85 percent new French oak.

    November 2018

This has a very suave, supple and fleshy style to it with aromas of poached blueberries and plums that lead to a soft, fleshy and seamlessly honed palate that’s easygoing, even and balanced.

    December 2018

The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Terroir Series has a deep garnet-purple color and oak to begin, giving way to a red and black currant core with blueberries, warm plums, earth and mocha plus a tobacco waft. The palate is medium to full-bodied, firm and grainy with good concentration and an earthy finish.
