The 2017 Mercurey La Framboisière continues to show very well, wafting from the glass with a lovely bouquet of strawberries, raspberries, incense and spices. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied, succulent and expressive, with a lively core of ripe fruit, juicy acids and powdery tannins, concluding with a sapid finish. As I've written before, this cuvée's combination of quantity and quality—some 65,000 bottles are produced in a normal year—makes it a veritable gift to wine lovers.See detailed press review
