Emily (Em) Miiller has been working in wine and spirits for over 20 years, starting in fine dining through university, and the last 12 years dedicated to fine wine and spirit sales in the Prairies. Born and raised in Canmore, Alberta, Em’s passion for nature and animals stems from growing up in the mountains, where she spent her time with her horses and traveling Alberta competing in Barrel Racing.

Now, living in a small farming community close to Calgary, Em tends to her two Arabian horses, her Jack Russell Terrier, her kitties, and her five perennial gardens. Her handy husband built her a greenhouse out of reclaimed farmhouse windows to match their 1905 Victorian home.

Em and her husband, Marc, bring their mutual passion for fine wine into their home and their travel adventures where whenever possible, including winery visits into their itineraries, and sharing wine and cocktail evenings at home when Marc’s grown-up son visits (Em’s stepson).

Em is dedicated to her career in wine and loves the passionate people that her job brings into her life. She loves to learn and is always taking online courses studying wine and spirits, plants and Herbalism, and Natural Horsemanship.
