Evelyne brings a wealth of experience in the wine industry both in British Columbia and abroad. Evelyne began her wine career at Le Vivier Restaurant a Michelin * restaurant in iL’Isle-sur-Sorgue, France. She has previously served as Wine Director at Le Crocodile and at Acquafarina & Per Se Social Corner here in British Columbia.

Evelyne’s journey in hospitality in started in France, but it was during her time working in restaurants across England and Australia that her passion for wine really took hold. Her growing curiosity for wine led her to study back home to France, where she spent two years focusing on French vineyards and earned her Brevet Professionnel (BP) Sommelier certification in 2016.

For Evelyne, wine is more than a profession. It is a lifelong pursuit of knowledge and a powerful lens through which to explore agriculture, nature, business, culture, history, and gastronomy.

What continues to inspire her is wine’s rare ability to be both elegantly simple and endlessly complex. Most of all, she values its unique power to connect people from all backgrounds and bring them together around the table.
